Search Engine Optimisation Manager

Right now, due to continued growth, we need another business focused individual to bolster our search marketing resource with SEO skills.

About You

You’re an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate search marketer. You’re already responsible for the development, deployment and management of Search Engine Optimisation campaigns, maybe a smattering of PPC activities too. But you need more of a challenge.

So bring your sound understanding of advanced and sophisticated SEO techniques to The Black Hole, where you can seamlessly integrate search marketing into our clients' marketing mix.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering SEO strategies as part of our team in this growth area. You’ll relish working with the agency's copywriters and developers, briefing and specifying work to them. Plus, you know how to demonstrate the continued value your input brings. Which means you feel at ease presenting your results to clients, either independently or as part of a wider team.

Together, we’ll see our clients' websites climb the natural listings and stay as high as possible.

Paid Search Analysis & Management Exec

Right now, due to continued growth, we need another business focused individual to support our Search Marketing Manager in wringing every drop of extra response out of our client’s PPC campaigns.

About You

You’re already involved in PPC activities, either at an agency or in house for a client. But you know you’re far better than your current job. You’d like to be part of a small team, where your analytical background or programming skills are valued. And where your logical, methodical approach can make a real difference to improving response and reducing costs for clients.

We know PPC isn’t just a media buy. So we take a different approach, which needs a different kind of individual. Ideally, you have;

  • A degree in a Technical subject - software engineering, computer science, maths or statistics
  • Some experience of setting up or running PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and MSN, plus knowledge of their analytics tools
  • Some programming knowledge and experience
  • A sharp, analytical mind, coupled with a desire and hunger to learn
  • Excellent critical reasoning skills
  • The ability to observe situations, and solve problems using lateral thinking
  • Fast and accurate computer skills
  • Experience of, or a further qualification in, marketing

Having said all that, the right person with the right potential is far more important than formal qualifications.
