Award nominations
The Black Hole is delighted to have received two nominations in this year’s Chip Shop Awards, the results of which will be announced on 10th June, 2009.
Nominated in the categories of “Best Public Awareness” and “Best Use of Plagiarism”, the ads, if they were ever to run, would:
1. Recruit readers to The Sun newspaper
2. Raise public awareness of drink spiking
The Chip Shop Awards
The Chip Shop Awards is about fostering and recognising creativity with no boundaries and no rules. It’s an international creative awards, open to anyone with great ideas. Your work does not have to have been broadcast, printed or mailed. You do not even have to have the client. You just have to have a great idea.
The awards are judged by an international panel including Dave Trott - Creative Director, CST Advertising, London; Mike McKenna - Creative Director, JWT, London; Nicke Bergstrom - Creative Director, Farfar, Stockholm; Oliver Handlos - Creative Director, Scholz & Friends, Berlin and Patrick Burgoyne - Editor Creative Review, London.
The Chip Shop Awards will be taking place on Wednesday 10th June in Fabric, London.
